V této práci zkoumám řečové jednání politiků v rámci komunikační události televizní politické debaty "Otázky Václava Moravce``. Vybral jsem si tři pořady, na nichž sleduji, zda a jak se liší řečové jednání levicových a pravicových politiků, zda čerpají z levicového či pravicového diskurzu a jakým způsobem z nich čerpají. Text televizní politické debaty pojímám jako součást řádu mediovaného politického diskurzu a při jeho analýze teoreticky a metodologicky vycházím z prací Normana Fairclougha. N. Fairclough je významným představitelem tzv. kritické analýzy diskurzu.I examine in this paper, how the politicians use the language within the communicative event of television political debate "Otázky Václava Moravce". I chose three programmes for this research. I probe, if there are some differenes in that how the left-wing and the right-wing politicians use the language. The focus here is on the drawing upon the left-wing a the right-wing discourse by politicians. I use in this paper Norman Fairclough¨s version of critical discourse analysis.
