Autorka práce předkládá dva překlady žánrů reportáž a román. Po teoretickém vymezení jsou oba překlady i s originály, jejichž autorkou je německá spisovatelka Angelika Overath, podrobeny překladatelskému rozboru. Práce si v rozborech všímá pragmatických, makrostylistických, lexikálních a morfosyntaktických činitelů a jejich vlivu na překlad. Následně dochází ke srovnání obou žánrů, ze kterého autorka abstrahuje hlavní lingvistické a překladatelské tendence.The authoress of this work has translated one reportage and one passage of literary text from the german writer Angelika Overath. Both translations were analysed and compared from the viewpoint of translation studies. The attention was given in the analysis to the pragmatic factors of translation and macro- and microstylistics of translation. The purpose of this comparison was to outline the difference of the both genres in linguistic and translation aspects.
