Cílem práce "Tři verze Lolity: román - scénář - film" je vysledovat a popsat dva možné přístupy k adaptaci. Je srovnáním přístupu Vladimira Nabokova, jenž adaptoval svůj román do formy scénáře a přístupu Stanleyho Kubricka, který na základě Nabokovových textů převedl Lolitu do filmové podoby. Kromě teoretické kapitoly věnované problematice adaptace, práce obsahuje stručnou historii vzniku románu, včetně dobových kritických ohlasů, rozbor použitých jazykových prostředků a analýzu, jak jsou tyto prostředky převedeny do scénáře. Další část diplomové práce je věnována Stanleymu Kubrickovi a jeho verzi Lolity. Film je zasazen do kontextu režisérovy další tvorby, rozebírá Lolitu po filmové stránce a hledá styčné plochy Kurbickovy verze s Nabokovovými texty.The thesis "Three versions of Lolita /novel-script-film/" compares three Lolita versions and shows and describes two different possibilities how to adapt a novel. This thesis compares the approach of Vladimir Nabokov - the author of the novel and the script as well - and the approach of Stanley Kubrick who made Lolita into a film on the basis of Nabokov´s texts. Apart from its theoretical part focused on problems of the adaptation this thesis despicts briefly background and history of the novel, including contemporary critical response. Furthermore this thesis also analyses Nabokov´s language means of expression used in his book and consequently analyses changes in script version. Another part of this thesis concerns Stanley Kubrick and his version of Lolita. The film is mentioned in the connection with the director´s other works. The final part of this thesis introduces several scenes from Lolita and describes differences in the novel, the script and the film.
