Práce se v teoretické části zaměřuje na historický vývoj hospiců, na vývoj přístupu k umírání a umírajícím, formy hospicové péče, poskytování péče v hospici obecně a blíže rozebírá jednotlivé druhy poskytované péče. Zaměřuje se na uživatele služeb, podmínky jejich přijetí do hospice, personální zajištění služeb z hlediska standardů kvality sociálních služeb, syndrom vyhoření, podává stručné informace o třech českých hospicích pro dospělé a o Nadačním fondu Klíček budující dětský hospic, o kterém rovněž informuje. Seznamuje s výsledky výzkumu provedeného předložením dotazníku lidem, podporující jakýmkoli způsobem činnost Nadačního fondu Klíček, zaměřuje se na specifika poskytované péče v dětském hospici, na roli herního specialisty v péči o nemocné děti. Praktická část obsahuje výzkum, který byl zrealizován prostřednictvím dotazníku u zdravotnického personálu tří vybraných hospiců v ČR, odpovědi na stanovené hypotézy a výsledky výzkumu provedeného u veřejnosti.The theoretic part of the work is focused on a historical evolution of the hospices, the evolution of the approach to the death and dying, the form of the hospice care, the offering of the care in hospices generally and analyses various sorts of the care. The work is focused on the users of the service, the conditions for admission to hospices, the staffing of the care with regard to the quality standards of the social service and the burnout. It gives brief information about three Czech hospices for adults and Nadační fond Klíček ( The Key Endowment Fund) building up a new children´s hospice.The work familiarizes readers with the conclusions of the query research, supporting the The Key Endowment Fund activity in any ways. It is aimed to the specifics of the care offering in the children´s hospice and the role of the play specialist looking after sick children.The practical part includes the research realised on the questionaries submitted to the staff of the three chosen hospices in the Czech republic and answers to defined hypothesis and conclusions of the public research.
