DP je zaměřena na zjištění, jakým způsobem tráví děti svůj volný čas, jak jej dokáží využít pro rozvoj svých schopností. Uvádím pojmy, které úzce souvisí z danou problematikou. Zmiňuji historický pohled na vývoj VMV a představuji jednotlivé instituce zabývající se tímto typem výchovy. Záměrem empirické části je poukázat na to, jakým způsobem a jak efektivně nakládají s volným časem děti ve věku 12 až 15 let. K ověření hypotéz jsem použila metody dotazníku. Získané údaje byly zpracovány a vyhodnoceny v tabulkách a grafech.The thesis is trying to investigate how the children spend their free time and how they can use it to develop their capabilities. I present the conceptions, which are closely connected with the present problems. I give the survey on the developement of the afterschool activities from the historical point of view and, as well, on the individual institutions which are engaged in this type of education. The aim of the empirical part is to show how the children at the age from 12 - 15 dispose effectively of their free time. To verify the hypotheses achieved, I used the method of the questionnaire. The obtained data were evaluated and processed in the tables and graphs.
