Cílem studie byl výzkum tonusu vegetativního nervového systému. Studentům byl měřen diastolický tlaka rychlost srdečních ozev po 15-20 min. odpočinku v sedě. Studenti byli fyzicky odpočinutí. Získané výsledky konstatují, že kakýkoliv trénink neovlivňuje diastolický tlak. Rozdíly mezi studenty trénovanými či netrénovanými (i mezi muži a ženami) nejsou podstatné. U rychlosti srdečních ozev jsou výsledky konkrétnější. Trénovaní studenti a studentky měli lepší výsledky než studenti netrénovaní. Alei tak výsledky nebyly významně odlišné.
