7 trénovaných běžců vytrvalců a 14 vysoce trénovaných kanoistů bylo sledováno v průběhu dvou po sobě jdoucích tréninkových let s cílem stanovení vlivu tréninku na hladinu koncentrace laktátu v krvi na úrovni individuálního anaerobního prahu.
