Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou hodnocení a rehabilitace kognitivních funkcí, které mají významný dopad na každodenní život jednotlivce. První část práce se zaměřuje na představení různých kognitivních funkcí, jako je pozornost, paměť, zrakově-prostorové schopnosti, jazyk a myšlení, spolu s metodami jejich hodnocení, včetně příkladů jednotlivých testů používaných ergoterapeuty. Dále práce popisuje nejčastější příčiny kognitivního deficitu, jako jsou cévní mozkové příhody, traumata mozku, intrakraniálních nádory a demence. V neposlední řadě se práce zaměřuje na různé metody rehabilitace a léčby kognitivního impairmentu, jako je využití neuroplasticity, farmakoterapie, fyzioterapie, ergoterapie, reminiscenční terapie a počítačových technologií. Cílem práce je poskytnout ucelený přehled problematiky kognitivního impairmentu a syntetizovat dostupné poznatky o charakteru jednotlivých kognitivních funkcí, možnostech testování a rehabilitace.This bachelor thesis deals with the assessment and rehabilitation of cognitive functions, which have a significant impact on everyday life. The first part of the thesis focuses on introducing various cognitive functions such as attention, memory, visuospatial abilities, language, and thinking, along with methods of their assessment, including examples of specific tests used by occupational therapists. Furthermore, the thesis describes the most common causes of cognitive deficits, such as strokes, brain trauma, intracranial tumours and dementia. Lastly, the thesis focuses on various methods of rehabilitation and treatment of cognitive impairment, such as utilizing neuroplasticity, pharmacotherapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, reminiscence therapy, and computer technologies. The aim of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of cognitive impairment issues and to synthesize available knowledge about the nature of cognitive functions, testing options and rehabilitation.
