The aim of this thesis is to explore the Czech population's experience with Internet content about exercise, diet, and weight loss and afterward to clarify the relationship between viewing this content and body image and relationship with food. The sample consisted of 1201 respondents aged 11-35 years. The methods used were the Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q; weight concern and eating concern subscales) and a questionnaire measuring experience with Internet content (exercise, diet, weight loss). A relatively significant proportion of the Czech study population consumes this Internet content (77.1% exercise content, 45.4% food content, 41.9% weight loss content). Regression analysis was used to examine the relationship between content watching and the relationship with food and body image. Neither the severity of consuming the content about exercise nor the time spent watching it influenced weight concern and eating concern. Both the severity of consuming weight loss content and the time spent watching the content influenced weight concern and eating concern. The severity of consuming food-oriented content influenced weight concern and eating concern, but the time spent watching this content did not.
