Bakalářská práce pojednává o jednom z onemocnění štítné žlázy zvané hypotyreóza, jež vzniká při nedostatku hormonů, které štítná žláza sama vyrábí. Práce zkoumá danou problematiku jak z teoretického, tak i z praktického hlediska. Za použití statistického softwaru R a základních statistických metod definovaných v teoretické části byla provedena analýza datové sady, jejíž statisticky významné výsledky jsou popsány v části praktické. Výsledky se především týkají nalezených souvislostí mezi hypotyreózou a faktory s ní spojenými.The bachelor's thesis discusses one of the diseases of the thyroid gland called hypothyroidism, which occurs when there is a lack of hormones produced by the thyroid gland itself. The thesis examines the issue from both a theoretical and a practical point of view. Using the statistical software R and the basic statistical methods defined in the theoretical part, an analysis of the data set was performed. The statistically significant results of the analysis are described in the practical part. The results mainly relate to the connections found between hypothyroidism and its associated factors.
