Tato práce se zabývá komiksem, jeho definicí a vymezení jeho přesných hranic vůči žánrům, které se nacházejí na pomezí hranice komiks. Jedná se o obrázkovou knihu, animovaný komiks a webkomiks. Do přehledové studie shrnuje soudobé poznatky o studiu komiksu získané z prací literárních teoretiků a dalších odborníků v této oblasti. Na základě v práci vymezené definice je rozhodnuto, zda obrázková kniha, animovaný komiks a webkomiks mohou být považovány za žánry komiksu či nikoliv.This thesis is focused on comics, its definition and the definition of its exact relation to genres that are located within the limitations of comics. Said genres are a picture book, an animated comic, and a webcomic. In an overview study, the thesis summarizes contemporary knowledge about the study of comics obtained from the works of literary theorists and other experts in this field. Based on the definition outlined in the work, it is decided whether the picture book, the animated comic and the webcomic can be considered genres of comics.
