Práce se věnuje chronologicky řazeným dějinám sboru Vox Bohemica od jeho počátků po současnost. Na klíčových událostech odkrývá kulturní a společenskou roli sboru ve svém regionu a snaží se vystihnout aspekty dlouholetého úspěšného působení. Text také představuje zásadní osobnosti a instituce, které se o vývoj pěveckého uskupení nejvíce zasloužily. Součástí práce je systematicky utříděný a digitalizovaný archiv sboru. Autor klade velkou pozornost na repertoárový vývoj uskupení a s jeho proměnou konfrontuje jak preference uměleckého vedení sboru, tak samotné možnosti a schopnosti členů sboru.The work deals with the chronologically arranged history of the Vox Bohemica choir from its beginnings to the present. At key events, it reveals the cultural and social role of the choir in its region and seeks to capture aspects of its long-standing success. The text also presents the key figures and institutions that have contributed most to the development of the choir. Part of the work is a systematically sorted and digitized choir archive. The author pays great attention to the repertoire development of the group and confronts with its transformation both the preferences of the artistic leadership of the choir and the very possibilities and abilities of the members of the choir.
