Práce zkoumá, zda se sociální geografie Libereckého kraje "propisuje" do zpravodajství regionální stanice Český rozhlas Liberec. Kombinací tří metod hledá souvislosti mezi sociálně geografickou charakteristikou regionu a obsahem zpravodajských relací Českého rozhlasu Liberec. Podstatnou část práce tvoří etnografická zkušenost autorky, která v redakci absolvovala několikaměsíční stáž, během které poznala, jak celá redakce funguje. Tento text se také snaží mapovat práci redaktorů a zhodnotit, zda regionální médium dostatečně pokrývá celý region a naplňuje svou úlohu. Na základě sociálně geografické charakteristiky, etnografie a obsahové analýzy tato práce dochází ke zjištění, že se sociální geografie do zpravodajství nijak výrazně neodráží. Současně analýza ukázala, že je region zpravodajsky pokryt nerovnoměrně. Charakteristiku nezmapovaných lokalit ovšem nejde jednotně určit, jelikož se liší polohou i sociální situací. Text se snaží hledat spojitosti mezi sociální geografií a tématem, lokalitou nebo formátem odvysílaných příspěvků, čímž popisuje mechanismus tvorby regionálního zpravodajství z Liberce.The thesis examines whether the social geography of the Liberec region is included in the news of the regional station Český rozhlas Liberec. The combination of three methods seeks connections between the social and geographical characteristics of the region and the content of news programs of Český rozhlas Liberec. A substantial part of the thesis is the ethnographic experience of the author, who completed an internship in the editorial office for several months, during which she learned, how the editorial office works. This text also seeks to map the work of the reporters and to assess, whether the regional medium sufficiently covers the whole region and fulfils its role. Based on socio-geographical characteristics, ethnography and content analysis, this thesis finds that social geography is not significantly reflected in the news. Simultaneously, the analysis showed that the region is by news mapped unevenly. However, the characteristic of unmentioned localities cannot be uniformly determined, because they are different in location and social situation. The text seeks to find connections between social geography and the topic, location or format of broadcasts, which describes the mechanism of creating regional radio news from Liberec.
