Tato diplomová práce se zabývá kárnou odpovědnosti soudců v České republice a má za cíl poskytnout přehled o současném stavu v této oblasti práva. Samotná publikace je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části, a to jak na část teoretickou, tak na část věnovanou samotnému výzkumu. Po úvodní exkurzi do historie kárné odpovědnosti soudců je v práci podrobně popsána taky aktuální klíčová právní úprava již zmiňované oblasti kárného soudnictví. Důraz je kladen zejména na posouzení účinnosti tohoto institutu a na zhodnocení jeho využívaní v praxi. V druhé části této práce je v rámci výzkumu analyzována zveřejněná a volně dostupná judikatura Nejvyššího správního soudu, která se týká kárných řízení vedených proti soudcům konkrétně v období od roku 2017 do roku 2022. Výsledky výzkumu uvedeného období jsou následně porovnány s daty z předešlých let. V závěru práce jsou reflektovány získané výsledky a diskutována kritéria, která ovlivňovala zamýšlená zhodnocení. Práce tak přináší krátký a ucelený přehled o kárné odpovědnosti soudců v České republice.This thesis deals with the disciplinary liability of judges in the Czech Republic and aims to provide an overview of the current state of affairs in this area of law. The publication is divided into two main parts including the theoretical part and the part dedicated to research. After an introductory excursion into the history of disciplinary liability of judges, the work describes, in detail, the current key legislation in the already mentioned area of disciplinary justice. Special emphasis is placed on assessing the effectiveness of this institute and evaluating its use in practice. In the second part of this work, the published and freely available jurisprudence of the Supreme Administrative Court is analyzed as part of the research, which refers to disciplinary proceedings conducted against judges, specifically in the period from 2017 to 2022. The research results of the aforementioned period are subsequently compared to the data from previous years. At the end of the thesis, the obtained results are reflected and the criteria that influenced the intended evaluation are discussed. The work thus provides a short and comprehensive overview of the disciplinary liability of judges in the Czech Republic.
