Předmětem zájmu diplomové práce je relativně nedávno zavedený koncept self-efficacy, se kterým v sedmdesátých letech přichází v rámci své sociálně kognitivní teorie kanadský psycholog A. Bandura. V teoretické části je cílem zdůraznit význam self-efficacy u studentů učitelství a její následný vliv a důležitost při výkonu učitelské profese. Cílem empirické části je realizace a analýza výzkumu zaměřeného na self-efficacy studentů učitelství matematiky Přírodovědecké fakulty Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci. Ačkoli v tomto směru bylo již výzkumů provedeno mnoho, budoucími učiteli se zabývá pouze malá část z nich, a ještě menší podíl pak tvoří výzkumy specificky oborové, jako právě například v oblasti budoucích učitelů matematiky. Předložená práce tak přispěje ke studiím konceptu self-efficacy v akademické sféře a přinese další poznatky v poli výzkumů tohoto konceptu u studentů učitelství, a tedy budoucích učitelů v českém prostředí.The subject of the thesis is the relatively recently introduced concept of self-efficacy, which was introduced in the 1970s by the Canadian psychologist A. Bandura in his social cognitive theory. In the theoretical part, the aim is to highlight the importance of self-efficacy in student teachers and its subsequent influence and importance in the performance of the teaching profession. The aim of the empirical part is the implementation and analysis of research on self-efficacy in mathematics teaching students at the Faculty of Science of Palacký University in Olomouc. Although a lot of research has already been conducted in this direction, only a small part of it deals with future teachers, and an even smaller proportion of it consists of discipline-specific research, such as in the area of future mathematics teachers. Thus, the present paper will contribute to the studies of the concept of self-efficacy in the academic sphere and will bring further insights in the field of research on this concept in student teachers and thus future teachers in the Czech environment.
