Obdržená data u obou skupin v pretestu i posttestu prošla podrobnou statistickou analýzou. Statistické testy předkládají výsledky, jež nám dovolují přijmout tvrzení, že je program rozvoje všímavosti účinnou metodu v ovlivnění sledovaných proměnných, neboť k očekávanému snížení deprese a disociace dochází pouze u skupiny experimentální a nikoliv komparativní. Rovněž nám výsledky statistického ověření hypotéz dovolují tvrdit, že je dvouměsíční mindfulness program účinným nástrojem u našich participantů, pocházejících z neklinické populace, v redukování míry depresivních a disociativních symptomů, a to i za pandemických podmínek. This rigorous thesis aims to prove the influence of mindfulness development throughout the eight-week program on depression and dissociation during the first wave of the global pandemic of COVID-19. Furthermore, it focuses on proving the actual benefits of the mindfulness program, evaluated by comparison with the data from the control group. Considering the research goals and variables investigated, the thesis uses the quantitative methodology. The data from the respondents was obtained by using the Beck Depression Inventory method and Dissociative Experiences Scale, in the pre-test and in the post-test. The sample file therefore consists of the test group with a total of 39 respondents and a control group of the same number of respondents. The choice of respondents in both groups was made using the improbability method of selection. The resulting data from both groups (pre-test and post-test) were evaluated using statistical analysis. The results of the statistical analysis allow us to trust the effectiveness of the mindfulness development program, with the expected mind-change in depression and dissociation occurring only in the experimental group and not the control group. Furthermore, the analysis of the statistics proof of the hypothesis allows us to affirm the effectiveness of the mindfulness program applied on the non-clinical population in reducing the effect of depression and dissociation symptoms, even throughout the global pandemic.
