Cílem této práce je prozkoumat zkušenost českých psychoterapeutů s religiozitou/spiritualitou (R/S) klientů křesťanského vyznání. Zajímá nás, jakým způsobem víra zasahuje do psychoterapeutického procesu a jak s ní lze pracovat. K dosažení cíle byl zvolen kvalitativní design. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 5 psychoterapeutů se zkušenosti s psychoterapii s věřícími klienty a vyhodnocení probíhalo metodou interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy. Z výsledků vyplývá, že R/S klienta je důležitou součástí jeho prožívání a v psychoterapii je tedy vhodné s ní pracovat. R/S může být pro klienta jak velkou oporou, tak ale i zdrojem problému. V přístupu k těmto tématům je proto třeba citlivosti a respektu ze strany psychoterapeuta, zároveň je však důležité vědomí profesních hranic a rozlišovaní psychoterapeutické a pastorální péči. I v rámci psychoterapie je ale možné klienta povzbudit v jeho R/S praktikách nebo je dokonce přímo využívat jako nástroj ke zlepšení a lze tak například cíleně budovat důvěru a vztah k Bohu.The aim of this thesis is to explore the experience of Czech psychotherapists with religiosity/spirituality (R/S) of clients of Christian faith. We are interested in how the beliefs influence the psychotherapeutic process and how it can be integrated into the therapy process. A qualitative design was chosen to achieve the aim. The research sample consisted of 5 psychotherapists with experience of psychotherapy with Christian clients and the evaluation was conducted using the interpretative phenomenological analysis. The results show that the R/S of the client is an important part of his/her experience and therefore it is appropriate to work with it in psychotherapy. R/S can be either a great support or a source of problems. Sensitivity and respect from the psychotherapist is needed in approaching these issues. It is also important to be aware of professional boundaries and to distinguish between psychotherapeutic and pastoral care. However, even within the context of psychotherapy, the client can be encouraged in their R/S practices as well as using them directly as a tool for improvement. For instance, it is possible to purposefully build trust and a relationship with God.
