Tato diplomová práce zpracovává téma Evropské měnové unie se zaměřením na Českou republiku a její budoucí vstup do eurozóny. Jedná se o politologicko-právní výzkum, při kterém je aplikován koncept europeizace. V rámci teoretické části práce je zkoumán pojem europeizace s přihlédnutím k jeho mnohovýznamovosti a jeho četným definicím. Následující kapitola analyzuje teorii a historii měnové integrace v Evropě. V poslední části práce je pojednáno o výhodách a nevýhodách spojených s přijetím eura jakožto národní měny ČR a dále o přístupu ČR k této otázce. Součástí poslední kapitoly je i zodpovězení výzkumných otázek.This diploma thesis deals with the subject of the European Monetary Union with a focus on the Czech Republic and its future entry into the Eurozone. It is a political-legal research in which the concept of Europeanization is applied. Within the framework of the theoretical part of the work, the concept of Europeanization is examined, taking into account its multiple meanings and its numerous definitions. The following chapter analyzes the theory and history of monetary integration in Europe. The last part of the thesis discusses the advantages and disadvantages associated with the adoption of the euro as the national currency of the Czech Republic, as well as the approach of the Czech Republic to this issue. The last chapter also includes answers to research questions.
