Úvodná téma tejto bakalárskej práce je história a dizajn vychádzkových záhrad vyvinutých v období Edo. Po tomto všeobecnom úvode sa práca posunie ku krátkej histórii a analýze záhrady Kenrokuen, nachádzajúcej sa v meste Kanazawa. Analýza bude zameraná najmä na dizajnové elementy použité v tejto záhrade. Individuálne dizajnové elementy a najznámejšie miesta záhrady budú preskúmané ako aj z historickej, tak aj z estetickej perspektívy. Metodológia aplikovaná na prvú časť o vychádzkových záhradách, bude najmä skúmanie sekundárnych zdrojov. Metodológia použitá v druhej časti tejto práce zameranej na záhradu Kenrokuen, bude spočívať hlavne v priamej analýze. Cieľom tejto práce je predstaviť a oboznámiť čitateľov s vychádzkovými záhradami a prepojiť tieto všeobecné informácie s konkrétnym príkladom, záhradou Kenrokuen. Táto práca môže byť taktiež využitá ako sprievodca samotnou záhradou Kenrokuen, pomôcť návštevníkovi pochopiť hlbší kontext dizajnu a možno aj umožniť zmysluplnejší a trvácnejší zážitok.The introductory topic of this bachelor´s thesis is the history and design of the stroll gardens developed in the Edo period. After this general introduction, the work will move onto the short history and analysis of the Kenrokuen garden located in the city of Kanazawa. In this analysis, the focus will be mostly on the design elements used in the garden. Individual design elements and garden´s most famous sites will be examined from historical as well as aesthetic perspective. The methodology used for the part concerning stroll gardens will be carried out by researching secondary sources. The methodology applied on the second part of this thesis, the Kenrokuen garden, will focus mostly on direct analysis. The goal of this thesis is to introduce and familiarize readers with stroll gardens and connect this general information with specific example, the Kenrokuen garden. This work could also be used as a guide to the Kenrokuen garden itself, helping the visitor understand the deeper context of the design, and perhaps allow them to have a more meaningful and lasting experience.
