Tématem předkládané magisterské diplomové práce je proces deinstitucionalizace psychiatrické péče z pohledu sociálního pedagoga. Teoretická část přibližuje reformu psychiatrické péče, zejména proces deinstitucionalizace psychiatrické péče. Dále práce popisuje vývoj komunitní péče o osoby s duševním onemocněním a vymezuje předmět a profesi sociálního pedagoga. Hlavním cílem předkládané práce bylo prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu porozumět procesu deinstitucionalizace psychiatrické péče z pohledu sociálního pedagoga. Data byla tvořena prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s šesti sociálními pedagogy, kteří pracují s osobami s duševním onemocněním, jsou zapojeni do procesu deinstitucionalizace psychiatrické péče. Zpracování dat proběhlo metodou interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy. Výsledky výzkumu ukazují, že sociální pedagog rozumí procesu deinstitucionalizace psychiatrické péče jako zkvalitnění života osob s duševním onemocněním. Dále spatřují přínos přesunu dlouhodobě hospitalizovaných osob z psychiatrických nemocnic do jejich přirozeného prostředí. Péče o tyto osoby byla pozvolna přenesena na komunitní služby.The topic of the presented master's thesis is the process of deinstitutionalization of psychiatric cere from the perspective of a social pedagogue. The theoretical part approximates the reform of psychiatric care, especially the process of deinstitutionalization of psychiatric care. Furthermore, the work describes the development of community care for persons with mental illness and defines the subject and profession of a social pedagogue. The main goal of the presented work was to understand the process of deinstitutionalization of psychiatric care from the perspective of a social pedagogue through qualitative research. The data was created through semi-structured interviews with six social pedagogues who work with persons with mental illness, are involved in the process of deinstitutionalization of psychiatric care. Data processing was carried out using the method of interpretive phenomenological analysis. The results of the research show that the social pedagogue understands the process of deinstitutionalization of psychiatric care as improving the quality of life of people with mental illness. They also see benefit of moving long-term hospitalized persons from psychiatric hospitals to their natural environment. The care of these persons was gradually transferred to community services.
