Cílem diplomové práce Komentovaný překlad vybraných pasáží z románu Eky Kurniawana Lelaki Harimau je přeložení a anotování pasáží z knihy soudobého indonéského autora. Teoretická část nastiňuje autorův život, jeho další tvorbu a děj knihy Lelaki Harimau. Dále je shrnuta translatologická teorie překladu uměleckého díla, na základě které je možné stanovit vlastní globální strategii. V analytické části jsou anotovány jevy na lexikální, gramatické i stylistické úrovni překladu. Dílčí problematické jevy jsou demonstrovány na příkladech, je popisován proces převádění daného jevu, a nakonec odůvodněno finální řešení. Vlastní překlad vybraných pasáží i původní text jsou uvedeny v příloze práce.The aim of this thesis, entitled "An Annotated Translation of Selected Passages from Eka Kurniawan's Novel Lelaki Harimau", is to translate and annotate selected sections from the work of this contemporary Indonesian author. The theoretical part deals with the author's biography, his other literary works and the content of the novel 'Lelaki Harimau'. This section also includes a summary of the translatological theories concerning the translation of artistic texts, which provide the basis for the formulation of a comprehensive global strategy. The analytical part of the thesis deals with the annotation of phenomena at the lexical, grammatical and stylistic levels of translation. Specific problematic phenomena are illustrated with examples, the process of their translation and the rationale for the final solutions are described. The actual translation of selected passages together with the original text are included in the appendix of the thesis.
