Práce se zabývá rozlišnostmi ve výkonu povolání referenta dávek hmotné nouze a sociálního pracovníka na oddělení hmotné nouze na úřadu práce. Diplomová práce má za cíl zjistit, v jakém rozsahu se sociální pracovníci a referenti dávek hmotné nouze zapojují do řešení negativních životních situací žadatelů o dávky pomoci v hmotné nouzi. V teoretické části je vymezen systém sociálního zabezpečení v České republice, sociální pomoc, sociální práce, sociální pracovník a náplň práce referenta dávek hmotné nouze a sociálního pracovníka. Konceptuální část je tvořena empirickým šetřením, a to dotazníkovým šetřením. Dotazník byl určen referentům dávek hmotné nouze a sociálním pracovníkům na oddělení hmotné nouze na Úřadu práce v Olomouci.The thesis deals with the differences in the performance of the profession of material distress benefits officer and social worker at the material emergency department at the employment office. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out to what extent social workers and material distress benefits officers are involved in solving the negative life situations of applicants for material distress benefits. In the theoretical part is defined the system of social security system in the Czech Republic, social assistance, social work, social worker and the job description of the material distress benefits officer and social worker. The conceptual part consists of an empirical investigation, namely a questionnaire investigation. The questionnaire was addressed to material distress benefits officers and social workers at the material emergency department at the Employment Office in Olomouc.
