Cílem této diplomové práce je popis vlivu pracovní zátěže a stresu, na celkovou životní spokojenost policistů Policie ČR, zjistit průměrnou míru jednotlivých psychologických jevů a rozpoznat rozdílnosti mezi jednotlivými sociodemografickými proměnnými v rámci výzkumného souborů. Teoretická část se zabývá organizaci Policie ČR, její strukturou a úkoly, vymezením pojmů týkající se pracovní zátěže, stresu a životní spokojenosti. Popisuje také rizikové faktory a stresory při výkonu služby u Policie ČR. Pro účely výzkumu je zvolen kvantitativní přístup a primární výzkumný nástroj je tvořen třemi standardizovanými dotazníky (IPSS, DŽS, SUPOS 7). K získání výzkumného souboru byla použita nepravděpodobnostní metoda a to samovýběr a metoda sněhové koule. Výzkumný soubor tvoří celkem 194 policistů a policistek. Výsledky výzkumů ukazují, že policisty nejvíce trápí neúměrná pracovní zátěž plynoucí z nadměrné administrativy, která je součástí policejní práce. Co se týká životní spokojenosti, policisté se neliší od normy běžné populace. Mezi tři oblasti, ve kterých jsou policisté nejméně spokojeni, patří práce a zaměstnání, volný čas a finanční situace.The purpose of this research paper is to describe the impact of workload and stress, the overall life satisfaction (LS) of the police officer employed by the Police of the Czech Republic. Determine the average degree of individual psychological phenomena and recognize the differences between individual sociodemographic variables within the research ensembles. The theoretical part deals with the organization of the Police, its structure and tasks. The definition of concepts concerning workload, stress and LS will be established. It also describes risk factors and stressors in the performance of the service with the Police. For the purposes of this research, a quantitative approach has been chosen and the primary research tool is made up of three standardized questionnaires (IPSS, DŽS, SUPOS 7). The unlikely method was used to obtain the research set, namely the Self - selection and the Snowball method. The research group consisted of a total of 194 police officers. Research results have shown that police officers are most troubled by a disproportionate workload resulting from the excessive administration which is part of the police work. As for LS, police do not differ from the standard of the ordinary population. Among the three areas in which police officers are least satisfied are work situation, leisure time, and financial situation.
