Hlavním cílem práce je přinést zjištění, zda senioři mají zájem o vzdělávání v oblasti používání techniky ICT prostřednictvím e-learningu. Metodologicky jsou cíle práce naplněny skrze kvantitativní výzkumné šetření, metodou sběru dat je dotazník vlastní konstrukce. Práce je členěna na dvě části - teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část obsahuje základní pojmy související s problematikou vycházející z odborné literatury a z již realizovaných výzkumů. Kapitoly v teoretické části jsou věnovány především vymezení pojmů stáří a stárnutí v kontextu celoživotního vzdělávání, vymezení etap života, vzdělávání seniorů, a využití ICT techniky seniory. Významná část je věnována e-learningu a jeho specifikům a také bariérám ve vzdělávání seniorů. Empirická část je vztažena k teoretické a věnuje se sběru, analýze a vyhodnocení dat. V závěru empirické části je mimo shrnutí výsledků výzkumu a doporučení pro praxi kapitola zodpovídající na hlavní a dílčí výzkumné otázky, ale také na definované hypotézy.The main objective of the thesis is to find out whether seniors are interested in education in the use of ICT technology through e-learning. Methodologically, the objectives of the thesis are fulfilled through quantitative research investigation, the method of data collection is a questionnaire of its own construction. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part contains basic terms related to the issue based on professional literature and already carried out research. Chapters in the theoretical part are devoted mainly to the definition of the concepts of old age and aging in the context of lifelong learning, the definition of life stages, the education of seniors, and the use of ICT technology by seniors. A significant part is devoted to e-learning and its specifics, as well as barriers in the education of seniors. The empirical part is related to the theoretical part and is devoted to the collection, analysis and evaluation of data. At the end of the empirical part, in addition to the summary of research results and recommendations for practice, there is a chapter answering the main and partial research questions, but also to defined hypotheses.
