Diplomová práce se věnuje hodnocení výživy u pacientů s onkologickým onemocněním. Cílem diplomové práce bylo zjistit, jaký je nutriční stav pacientů s onkologickým onemocněním. Teoretická část sumarizuje nejnovější dohledatelné poznatky o výživě pacientů s onkologickým onemocněním a popisuje nejnovější dohledatelné informace o vybraných měřících nástrojích hodnotících nutriční stav. Výzkumná část diplomové práce byla provedena jako kvantitativní studie. Ke sběru dat byly použity měřící nástroje The Nutrition Risk Screening 2002 (NRS-2002) a Mini Nutrition Assessment (MNA). Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 94 respondentů hospitalizovaných na onkologických odděleních. Z výsledků výzkumné části diplomové práce vyplývá, že pacienti s onkologickým onemocněním jsou náchylnější k riziku podvýživy. Z výsledků diplomové práce se dá vyvodit, že na hodnocení nutričního stavu má vliv věk, váha a BMI. Diplomová práce poukazuje na problematiku podvýživy u pacientů s onkologickým onemocněním a zdůrazňuje důležitost jejich včasné identifikace.The diploma thesis deals with nutrition assessment in patients with oncological diseases. The diploma thesis aimed to determine the nutritional status of patients with oncological diseases. The theoretical part summarizes the latest traceable knowledge about nutrition in patients with oncological diseases and describes the latest traceable information about selected measurement tools assessing nutritional status. The research part of the diploma thesis was conducted as a quantitative study. The Nutrition Risk Screening 2002 (NRS-2002) and Mini Nutrition Assessment (MNA) measurement tools were used to collect data. The research population consisted of 94 respondents hospitalized in oncology departments. The results of the research part of the thesis show that patients with oncological diseases are more prone to the risk of malnutrition. From the results of the diploma thesis, it can be concluded that age, weight and BMI influence the assessment of nutritional status. The diploma thesis highlights the issue of malnutrition in patients with oncological diseases and emphasizes the importance of early identification.
