Este trabajo consiste en un análisis comparativo entre la obra literaria Naufragios de Álvar Núňez Cabeza de Vaca y la película Cabeza de Vaca de Nicolás Echevarría, explorando la presencia sutil y poco visible de la colonialidad en la sociedad actual y la importancia de reflexionar sobre ella. El análisis se enfoca en tres categorías: el otro, la desnudez y vestimenta y la fe, interpretándolas desde una perspectiva poscolonial en la película. A diferencia de una comparación aislada de pasajes específicos, este análisis busca capturar el significado general de cada categoría en ambas obras, contribuyendo al avance hacia un futuro más justo y consciente de las lecciones del pasado.This thesis is a comparative analysis between the literary work Naufragios by Álvar Núňez Cabeza de Vaca and the film Cabeza de Vaca by Nicolás Echevarría, exploring the subtle and little visible presence of coloniality in today's society and the importance of reflecting on it. The analysis focuses on three categories: the other, nudity and clothing, and faith, interpreting them from a postcolonial perspective in the film. Unlike an isolated comparison of specific passages, this analysis seeks to capture the overall meaning of each category in both works, contributing to the advancement towards a more just future conscious of the lessons of the past.
