Předmětem bakalářské práce je žánrová analýza Netflix seriálu The Haunting: Dům na kopci (2018) s důrazem na pojetí hororového žánru. Zabývám se v práci otázkou, nakolik je podoba hororu v pořadu konvenční či nikoli. Podle mé hypotézy The Haunting - Dům na kopci pracuje s hororovým žánrem inovativně a proti diváckému očekávání. Poukázání na nekonvenční užití hororu představuje náplň analýzy.The subject of the bachelor's thesis is a genre analysis of the Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House (2018), with emphasis on the concept of the horror genre. I address the question at work of how conventional or not the form of a horror film is on the show. According to my hypothesis The Haunting of Hill House works with the horror genre innovatively and against audience expectations. Pointing out an unconventional use of horror is the stuff of analysis.
