Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na vrcholné dílo J. W. Goetha Faust a jeho jevištní podoby v nedávné době. Na vybraných inscenacích Faust Činohry Národního divadla Praha (J. Frič, 2018) a Faust Divadla pod Palmovkou (J. Klata, 2019) budou prizmatem konceptů převzatých ze současných humanitních věd zkoumány aktuální výklady díla a jeho jevištní zpracování. Cílem práce je za pomoci diskurzivní analýzy a zvoleného teoretického aparátu identifikovat interpretační posun tohoto, dnes již klasického, díla na základě současných společensko-politických diskurzů.The thesis focuses on the most significant work of J. W. Goethe Faust and his stage forms in recent times. On selected productions Faust of the National Theatre Prague (J. Frič, 2018) and Faust of the Divadlo pod Palmovkou (J. Klata, 2019) will examine current interpretations of the drama and its staging through the prism of concepts taken from contemporary humanities. The aim of the work is to identify, with the help of discourse analysis and the chosen theoretical apparatus, the interpretative shift of this now classic work based on the contemporary socio-political discourses.
