Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se věnuje teorii překladu, kriminální próze, autorce knihy a specifikům její tvorby, a zmiňuje také ženskou prózu. Praktická část je tvořena vlastním překladem vybraných kapitol a translatologickým komentářem.This master's thesis is concerned with the literary translation of a work of fiction. Police procedural fiction written by Alexandra Marinina was chosen as the subject of the translation. This work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the theory of translation, crime fiction, author of the book and specific aspects of her work, and it also mentions women literature. The practical part is composed of translation of selected chapters and translatological commentary.
