Předmětem diplomové práce je překlad odborného textu z oblasti dějin umění a jeho následný komentář. Výchozím textem je kapitola z učebnice pro střední umělecké školy, která se zabývá uměním 17. století, konkrétně barokem a tvorbou barokních umělců v Itálii a Vlámsku. Teoretická část diplomové práce je zaměřena na stylistiku odborného textu, překlad a texty z oblasti dějin umění. Praktická část obsahuje překlad textu a komentář překladových transformací.The subject of the diploma thesis is the translation of an professional text from the field of art history and its subsequent commentary. The original text is a chapter from a textbook for secondary art schools, which deals with the art of the 17th century, specifically the Baroque and the work of Baroque artists in Italy and Flanders. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the stylistics of professional texts, translation and texts from the field of art history. The practical part contains a translation of the text and a commentary on translation transformations.
