Tato diplomová práce se zabývá evropeizací vybraných zemí Západního Balkánu. Z hlediska metodologie se jedná o komparativní studii dvou zemí, konkrétně Černé Hory a Srbska. Důvodem výběru práce bylo, že obě tyto země mají status kandidátské země a nacházejí se ve fázi přístupových jednání. Proto je cílem práce zjistit, která země má v současnosti lepší perspektivu na přijetí mezi ostatní členské země EU. Konkrétně, která země naplňuje všechny určené požadavky. Časově je práce vymezena na období od udělení statusu kandidátské země až do současnosti, tedy roku 2021. Práce je členěna na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se skládá z několika stěžejních kapitol, kdy nejprve dochází k definování významnosti pojmu evropeizace a k představení nejvýznamnějších teoretiků. Další část se poté zaměřuje na samotný proces evropeizace v zemích západního Balkánu. Důraz je kladen na tzv. princip kondicionality neboli podmíněnosti. Autorka si pro svou práci zvolila analýzu politických kritérií, která je opřena o oblasti právního státu a dodržování lidských práv. Konkrétně je zaměřeno na správnost soudnictví, boj proti korupci, boj proti organizovanému zločinu, dodržování lidských práv a správného chodu demokratického státu. Poslední kapitola práce je poté věnována komparaci nabytých informací a ke zjištění určeného cíle práce.This diploma thesis deals with the Europeanization of selected countries of the Western Balkans. In terms of methodology, this is a comparative study of two countries, namely Montenegro and Serbia. The reason for choosing the work was that both of these countries have the status of a candidate country and are in the phase of accession negotiations. Therefore, the aim of the work is to find out which country currently has a better perspective for acceptance among other EU member states. Specifically, which country fulfills all the specified requirements. In terms of time, the work is limited to the period from the granting of the status of a candidate country until the present, i.e. the year 2021. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part consists of several key chapters, where the significance of the concept of Europeanization is first defined and the most important theorists are presented. The next part then focuses on the Europeanization process itself in the countries of the Western Balkans. Emphasis is placed on the so-called principle of conditionality. For her work, the author chose the analysis of political criteria, which is based on the area of the rule of law and respect for human rights. Specifically, it is focused on the correctness of the judiciary, the fight against corruption, the fight against organized crime, respect for human rights and the proper functioning of the democratic state. The last chapter of the work is then devoted to the comparison of the acquired information and to ascertaining the determined goal of the work.
