Diplomová práce se soustředí na analýzu titulků k filmu Mein Blind Date mit dem Leben, přičemž srovnává německou verzi s dvěma česky vypracovanými titulky. První česká verze byla přeložena anonymním překladatelem, zatímco druhá vznikla pouze za pomoci mechanického automatického překladu. V rámci této komparace je cílem zjištění často vyskytujících se překladatelských problemů, a to především v případě mechanického překladu, dále jejich popis a snaha o zdůvodnění jejich výskytu. Dále se práce zabývá otázkou, do jaké míry je mechanický překlad spolehlivý.The thesis focuses on the analysis of the subtitles for the film Mein Blind Date mit dem Leben, comparing the German version with two Czech subtitles. The first Czech version was translated by an anonymous translator, while the second one was created only with the help of mechanical automatic translation. The aim of this comparison is to identify frequently occurring translation problems, especially in the case of the mechanical translation, to describe them and to try to find the reason for their occurrence. Furthermore, the thesis addresses the question to what extent mechanical translation is reliable.
