Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá vzděláváním seniorů. Cílem práce je zjistit důvody, které vedou seniory ke vzdělávání nebo je od vzdělávání odrazují, a v případě zájmu o vzdělávání, jaká témata, formy či metody upřednostňují. V teoretické části se věnuji teoretickému ukotvení vzdělávání seniorů, jeho cílům, podmínkám, bariérám a také s tím souvisejícím vzdělávacím metodám, formám a obsahům. Následně zmiňuji institucionální vzdělávání seniorů v ČR a koncept celoživotního vzdělávání. V empirické části je popsána metodika užitého kvantitativního výzkumu a prezentovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření. Výzkum ukázal značný zájem respondentů v seniorském věku o další vzdělávání, který se projevuje i aktivní participací na vzdělávání většiny z nich. Nejčastější bariérou dalšího vzdělávání je horší zdravotní stav a slabá motivace.This master's thesis looks at the education of senior citizens. The study's objective is to ascertain the reasons which lead senior citizens to partake in education, or discourage them from doing so, and where they are interested in education what topics, forms or methods they prefer. In the theoretical section, I look at the theoretical foundations of educating senior citizens, its objectives, conditions, barriers and also related educational methods, forms and content. Subsequently, I move on to the institutional education of senior citizens in the Czech Republic and the concept of lifelong learning. The empirical section describes the method of using quantitative research and presents the results of my interview survey. The research demonstrated the marked interest of respondents of senior citizen age in further education, which is manifested in most of them participating actively in education. The most common barrier to further education is poor health and poor motivation.
