Tématem této diplomové práce byla analýza hvězdného obrazu hollywoodské herečky Michelle Pfeiffer, který se v průběhu její dlouhé kariéry měnil. Proměna je představena prostřednictvím případových studií chronologicky sledujících vývoj hereckého a mediálního obrazu Michelle Pfeiffer. Základním cílem této práce bylo identifikovat hlavní rysy, které vytvářejí hvězdný obraz herečky. Základním metodologickým zdrojem pro tuto práci se stala kniha Stars od Richarda Dyera. Analýza hvězdného obrazu herečky a případová studie, které byly založeny na šesti vybraných filmech ukázaly, že hlavními rysy jejího hvězdného obrazu je její krása a tradiční ženskost, jejichž hodnota se s přibývajícím věkem mění.The topic of this diploma thesis was the analysis of the star image of the Hollywood actress Michelle Pfeiffer, which changed during her long career. The transformation is presented through case studies chronologically tracing the evolution of Michelle Pfeiffer's acting and media image. The primary aim of this thesis was to identify the main features that make up the star image of the actress. Richard Dyer's book Stars was the primary methodological source for this diploma thesis. The analysis of the actress' star image and the case study based on six selected films showed that the main features of her star image are her beauty and traditional femininity, the value of which changes with age.
