Práce samotná se zabývá problematikou četnictva na Krnovsku v období od roku 1938 do roku 1945. Popisuje vývoj četnictva v oblasti a poté následnou přeměnu, kterou začala nová etapa německého četnictva, v níž se práce zaměřuje na objasnění běžné činnosti četnictva a určitých aspektů běžného života souvisejících s povoláním. Cílem práce je seznámení s činností četnictva v okrese, rozsahem jejich činností a jejími běžnými aspekty, včetně představení určitých hospodářských a personálních aspektů. V rámci časového vymezení se práce dotýká i konce činnosti četnictva v oblasti.The thesis itself deals with the gendarmerie in the Krnov region in the period from 1938 to 1945. It describes the development of gendarmerie in the area and its subsequent transformation, which a new phase of German gendarmerie began, in which the thesis focuses on the explanation of the gendarmerie's everyday activities and certain aspects of everyday life related to the profession. The aim of the thesis is to acquaint with the activities of the gendarmerie in the district, the extent of their activities, and their common aspects, including an introduction of certain economic and personnel aspects. Within the time frame, the thesis also touches on the end of the gendarmerie's activities in the region.
