Diplomová práce za použití autobiografických knih popisuje v teoretické části život generála Františka Fajtla, zejména jeho roli v průběhu druhé světové války, údery pod pás, jež ho potkaly, a následné rehabilitace. V praktické části se již zaměřuje na jeho stěžejní dílo Sestřelen, v němž si klade za cíl odhalit motivy hrdinství a smrti jak v samotném díle, tak u jednotlivých postav. Jejím sekundárním cílem je zjistit, zda žáci dokážou tyto motivy odhalit i v komiksovém zpracování díla.The diploma thesis uses the autobiographical books in the theoretical part to describe the life of General František Fajtl, especially his role during the World War II, the blows under the belt that met him, and subsequent rehabilitation. In the practical part the thesis focuses on his major work Shot Down, in which it aims to reveal the motives of heroism and death both in the work itself and in the individual characters. Its secondary goal is to find out whether students can reveal these motives in the comic book processing of the work.
