Diplomová práce se zabývá historií, vývojem a posláním Policie České republiky v rámci integrovaného záchranného systému. Cílem práce je na základě literární rešerše popsat historii a vývoj složek Policie České republiky. Teoretická část obsahuje charakteristiku integrovaného záchranného systému a historii a vývoj bezpečnostních složek v Územním odboru Jeseník. Dále se práce zabývá vztahem občanů a policie, ať už v zahraničí nebo v České republice. Pozornost je zaměřena na zjištění, zdali tento vztah je převážně pozitivní a občané jsou se službami policie spokojeni nebo naopak negativní a spokojenost obyvatelstva absentuje buď z části nebo zcela. V praktické části je realizován výzkum, který se předmětnou problematikou zabývá. Vyhodnocení probíhalo na základě dotazníkového šetření na vzorku obyvatelstva, které deklarovalo místo svého trvalého pobytu v Olomouckém kraji. Výsledkem práce je zjištění, že většina obyvatel tohoto kraje má kladný vztah k Policii České republiky a také má jejich důvěru.The diploma thesis deals with the history, development and mission of the Police of the Czech Republic within the integrated rescue system. The aim of the thesis is to describe the history and development of the Police of the Czech Republic on the basis of a literature search. The theoretical part contains the characteristics of the integrated system and the history and development of security forces in the local department of Jeseník. The thesis also deals with the relationship between citizens and the police, whether abroad or in the Czech Republic. Attention is focused on finding out whether this relationship is mostly positive and citizens are satisfied or negative with the police services and the satisfaction of the population is either less or completely absent. The practical part is the research that deals with the subject. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of a questionnaire survey on a sample of the population, which declared their place of permanent residence in the Olomouc Region. The thesis is a finding that the majority of the population of this region has a positive attitude towards the Police of the Czech Republic and also has their trust.
