Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku radiologických zbraní a jejich využití v minulosti i současnosti. Pro získaní aktuálních dat bylo využito sociologické šetření mezi běžnou populací. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit, jaké podvědomí má veřejnost o této problematice. Teoretická část obsahuje obecný přehled o radiologických zbraních, terorismu, špinavé bombě a možnostech ochrany obyvatelstva při použití radiologických zbraní. Výzkumná část obsahuje metodiku, cíle a výsledky vlastního dotazníkového šetření. Výsledky výzkumu prokázaly nedostatečnou informovanost obyvatelstva České republiky o dané problematice. Závěr obsahuje návrhy, které by mohly přispět k odstranění nedostatků ve vnímání problematiky tohoto typu zbraní hromadného ničení.The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of radiological weapons and their use in the past and present. A sociological survey of the general population was used to obtain current data. The main aim of the thesis is to find out what the public's subconsciousness is about this issue. The theoretical part contains a general overview of radiological weapons, terrorism, dirty bomb, and the possibilities of protecting the population when radiological weapons are used. The research part contains the methodology, objectives, and results of the actual questionnaire survey. The results of the research showed that the population of the Czech Republic is not sufficiently informed about the issue. The conclusion contains suggestions that could contribute to eliminating the shortcomings in the perception of this type of weapons of mass destruction.
