Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na proces vyrovnání se s diagnózou z pohledu rodičů. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, jak se rodiče vyrovnávají s diagnózou mentálního postižení u dítěte. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části je popsána rodina dítěte s mentálním postižením. Uvedeny jsou fáze vyrovnání se a proces sdělení diagnózy. V praktické části byl proveden kvalitativní výzkum. Výzkum je rozdělen na fáze, které popsala Elisabeth Kübler-Ross. Výzkumný vzorek tvořily čtyři matky. K získávání informací byl použit polostrukturovaný rozhovor. K vyhodnocení byla použita metoda trsu.The bachelor thesis focuses on the process of coping with the diagnosis from the perspective of parents. The main aim was to find out how parents cope with the diagnosis of the mental disability of their child. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the family of a child with a mental disability. There are described the stages of coping with the diagnosis and the process of communicating the diagnosis. Qualitative research was conducted in the practical part. The research is divided into phases, which were described by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross. The research sample consisted of four mothers. A semi-structured interview was used to obtain information. The bunch method was used for evaluation.
