Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá moderními dějinami sternberské obrazové sbírky na zámku v Častolovicích. Tato sbírka, která dosud nebyla dostatečně probádána, sestává z více než tří stovek obrazů. Jádro kolekce je spojeno s rodem Sternbergů, jehož příslušníci vlastní panství Častolovice od roku 1694, s výjimkou období konfiskace ve 20. století, až dosud. Diplomová práce si klade za cíl rekonstruovat dějiny obrazové sbírky v období let 1949-1992 a na základě objevených archivních pramenů shromáždit a interpretovat co nejvíce informací, které se k danému tématu vztahují.The master's thesis deals with the modern history of the Sternberg picture collection at the castle in Častolovice. This collection, which has not yet been sufficiently explored, consists of more than three hundred paintings. The core of the collection is connected with the Sternberg family, whose members have owned the Častolovice estate since 1694, with the exception of the period of confiscation in the 20th century, up to present days. The aim of the diploma thesis is to reconstruct the history of the picture collection in the period 1949-1992 and, on the basis of discovered archival sources, to collect and interpret as much information as possible related to the given topic.
