Tématem této bakalářské práce je analýza vybraných ženských postav seriálu Stranger Things, jmenovitě postav Joyce Byers, Nancy Wheeler a Jedenáctky, a to skrze žánry zastoupené v pořadu. Analýza vychází z konceptu dekonstrukce fikční postavy, představenou Jeremy G. Butlerem, spočívající ve vymezení základních kategorií, podle kterých jde postavu zkoumat. Analytická část práce se nejprve soustředí na představení hlavních žánrů obsažených v pořadu, zkoumá jejich konkrétní projevy a vliv žánrových filmů z 80.let na Stranger Things samotné. Dále skrze dekonstrukci podle představených kategorií ukazuje, jak postavy v jednotlivých žánrech fungují a čím se díky žánrovým kombinacím vymykají z typického zobrazování.The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the analysis of selected female characters of the fictional Netflix series Stranger Things, namely the characters of Joyce Byers, Nancy Wheeler and Eleven, through the genres represented in the show. The analysis is based on the concept of deconstruction of a fictional character, introduced by Jeremy G. Butler, consisting in defining the basic categories according to which the character can be examined. The analytical part of the work first focuses on the presentation of the main genres included in the show, examines their specific manifestations and the influence of genre films from the 80s on Stranger Things themselves. Furthermore, through the deconstruction of beforehand introduced categories, it shows how the characters in individual genres work and how, thanks to genre combinations and therefore genre hybridization, they deviate from typical depiction and how they create interesting complex characters.
