Práce analyzuje problematiku odlesňování deštného pralesa jihovýchodní Asie a zaměřuje se na oblast státu Myanmar. Pro srovnání a uvědomění si typických rysů biosféry jihovýchodní Asie je první část práce zaměřena na charakteristiku biomu deštných lesů a jejich rozšíření na Zemi. Pak se přesouvá k problematice odlesňování TDL v jihovýchodní Asii a Myanmaru. Za účelem porozumění dané problematiky je značná část textu zasvěcena zejména příčinám odlesňování v Myanmaru. Jak jsou deštné lesy JVA chráněny a obnovovány je představeno v několika konkrétních příkladech. Efektivní procesy udržitelného managementu těchto projektů jsou pak, na základě analyzovaných informací v předešlých kapitolách, navrhnuty jako možné postupy pro udržitelnou správu deštných lesů v Myanmaru. Problematika odlesňování a koncept udržitelného rozvoje v Myanmaru je pak diskutován v rámci celého rozvojového světa.The work analyzes the issue of deforestation of the rainforest of Southeast Asia and focuses mainly on the state of Myanmar. To compare and realize the typical features of the biosphere of Southeast Asia, the first part of the work focuses on the characteristics of rainforests in general, then in more detail on the rainforests in Southeast Asia and Myanmar. The next part represents deforestation in Southeast Asia and Myanmar. In order to understand the issue, a large part of the text is devoted to the causes of deforestation. How SEA rainforests are protected and restored is shown in several concrete examples. Effective sustainable management processes for these projects are then, based on the information analyzed in the previous chapters, proposed as possible procedures for the sustainable management of rainforests in Myanmar. The issue of deforestation and the concept of sustainable development in Myanmar is then discussed throughout the developing world.
