Etologie živočichů v průběhu reprodukce je důležitá k pochopení rozmnožovacích taktik, návyků a preferencí jednotlivých druhů. Jedním z méně prozkoumaných rybích druhů České republiky z hlediska chování v průběhu reprodukce je bolen dravý (Leuciscus aspius). Cílem této práce bylo doplnit znalosti o etologii bolena dravého v průběhu reprodukce. Po dobu dvou reprodukčních sezón jsem pozoroval třecí hejno bolena dravého na vodní nádrži Švihov, kde se nachází největší populace bolena dravého v České republice. Při výzkumu jsem využil pasivní telemetrii, která detekovala očipované jedince na trdlišti, a také vizuální pozorování k pochopení samotné etologie při rozmnožování. Sestavený etologický vzorec rozmnožování bolena dravého se skládá ze čtyř fází: I. předreprodukčního dozrávání na odpočívadle do 2 km od trdliště, II. tahu na trdliště, III. samčího souboje na trdlišti/samičího čekání v proudu na námluvy, IV. třecího aktu. Detailní poznatky, které popisuji v práci, mohou napomoci ke zlepšení ochrany bolena dravého jako druhu chráněného v rámci soustavy NATURA 2000.The ethology of animals during reproduction is important for understanding reproductive tactics, habits, and preferences of individual species. One of the less explored fish species in the Czech Republic in terms of behavior during reproduction is an asp (Leuciscus aspius). During the two reproduction seasons, spawning of asps was observed at Švihov Reservoir, where the largest population of asps in the Czech Republic is located. The constructed ethological pattern of asp's reproduction consists of four phases: I. pre-reproductive maturation on a staging ground up to 2 km from the spawning ground, II. migration to the spawning ground, III. male fights in the spawning ground/females waiting in the current for courtship and IV. the reproductive act itself. The aim of the work was to better understand the ethology of asps during natural reproduction and to compile an ethological formula. In the research passive telemetry, which detected tagged individuals in the spawning area, as well as visual observation to understand the ethology itself during reproduction, were used. The detailed findings, which are described in the thesis, can help to improve the protection of asps as a species protected within the NATURA 2000 network.
