The thesis deals with the topic of sharenting, i.e sharing photos or video representing of children on social networks. In the research was used a qualitative methodology. Respondents in the research were selected using an intended selection according to the criteria. Data was collected through semi-structured interview, interval scale with statements and analysis of photos on mothers' profiles. Triangulation methods were udes. For data analysis was choosen descriptive phenomenological analysis and triangulation within the methods. The following results based on data analysis have been describe. The motives that lead mothers to share photos of their own children on the social networks are communication, sharing experiences and seeking maternity counseling; self-presentation; photo storage; use of free time and relaxation. The positive feelings and reactions of the environment, which are associated with the publication of contributions, support and strengthen the idea of women about the mother's role and its value. The most common types of shared images are photos that capture children's life milestones or cute moments. Mothers are aware of the risks of sharing, namely the misuse of images for pornography and related pedophilia; misuse of personal data or the place that the photo captures with the child; negative impact on the child's future; sharing posts depicting a child without his or her consent.
