Tahle bakalářská práce předkládá dohledané informace, které se týkají problematiky karcinomu rekta, od epidemiologie až po terapii. Co se týče terapie, zabývá se především využitím radioterapie, chemoterapie a také kombinace obou těchto modalit - radiochemoterapie. Dále se věnuje jejich výhodám a nevýhodám a představuje možné nežádoucí účinky léčby.This bachelor's thesis presents information relating to the issue rectal cancer from epidemiology to treatment. As for treatment, deals mainly with the use of radiotherapy, chemotherapy and also a combination of both of these modalities - radiochemotherapy. It also discusses their advantages and disadvantages and summarises possible side effects of treatment.
