The synergistic interaction of anticancer drugs is an important part of cancer therapy. Three-dimensional (3D) cell cultures, which effectively mimic the complexity of tumors, are becoming an important tool for translational research, cover the shortcomings of 2D systems and better model drug delivery and drug-target interactions under physiological conditions. In this work, the synergy relation of used drugs in 3D cultures was confirmed by measuring spheroid size changes using microscopy and viability using a 3D cell viability assay.
