Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá soukromou korespondencí německé-ho spisovatele a malíře Wolfganga Hildesheimera. Provedená analýza nabízí možnosti překladu problematických frází, přičemž cílem této práce je zjistit, zda je hra se slovy, typická pro jeho literární tvorbu, přítomna právě i v jeho sou-kromé korespondenci. V práci jsou nejprve popsána teoretická východiska s důrazem na teorii ekvivalence od Wernera Koller. Následně se práce věnuje i pozadí vzniku sbírky Hildesheimerovy korespondence, jeho posledního literární-ho díla Mitteilungen an Max über den Stand der Dinge und Anderes, analýze tohoto díla od Hany Kučerové, ale i samotnému autorovi. Praktická číst je členě-na do tematických kapitol, ve kterých jsou analyzovány jednotlivé fráze. V závěru jsou výsledky analýzy shrnuty a uvedeny do kontextu.This bachelor thesis deals with the private correspondence of the German writer and painter Wolfgang Hildesheimer. The carried-out analysis offers translation possibilities of problematic phrases, and the aim of this thesis is to find out, whether speech games, typical of his literary work, are also present in his private correspondence. First, the theoretical background is described, with an emphasis on Werner Koller's equivalence theory. Subsequently, the thesis also examines the background of the collection of Hildesheimer's correspondence, his last liter-ary work Mitteilungen an Max über den Stand der Dinge und Anderes, Hanna Kučerová's analysis of this work, and the author himself. The practical part of the thesis is divided into thematic chapters in which individual phrases are ana-lysed. Finally, the results of the analysis are summarized and put into context.
