Bakalářská práce se zabývá sestavením tematického atlasu vybraných přírodních charakteristik Olomouckého kraje. Jako datové zdroje byly použity veřejně dostupná data, data poskytnutá Krajským úřadem Olomouckého kraje a existující datové sady z Katedry geoinformatiky UP. Teoretická část je věnována odborné rešerši problematiky atlasové tvorby, kartografických metod, školních vzdělávacích plánů a již existujících kartografických děl na téma přírody či životního prostředí. Praktická část je nejrozsáhlejší a věnuje se tvorbě atlasu. Na základě rešerše byl stanoven požadovaný obsah atlasu, který byl dále upraven podle dostupných dat. Prostorová data byla zpracována v ArcGIS Pro od společnosti Esri, některá data byla předzpracována v tabulkovém procesoru Microsoft Excel ze sady Microsoft Office 365. Grafické zpracování probíhalo v programech desktop publishing (DTP), a to konkrétně Adobe Illustrator a Adobe InDesign z balíčku Adobe Creative Cloud. V Adobe Illustrator byly graficky zpracovány mapy a doplněna legenda. V prostředí Adobe InDesign byl následně doplněn text, přidány grafy, ilustrace, fotografie a další nadstavbové kompoziční prvky. Na závěr byla provedena předtisková příprava. Hlavním výsledkem práce je vytvořený tematický atlas s názvem Atlas přírody Olomouckého kraje a k němu přidružený pracovní sešit. Digitální verze atlasu ve formátu PDF je dostupná na webu bakalářské práce spolu s pracovním sešitem, textem práce a posterem ve formátu A2.The bachelor thesis deals with the compilation of a thematic atlas of selected natural characteristics of the Olomouc Region. Publicly available data, data provided by the Regional Office of the Olomouc Region, and existing datasets from the Department of Geoinformatics, Palacký University Olomouc, were used as data sources. The theoretical part is focused on professional research on atlas creation, methods of cartographic visualization, school educational plans, and existing cartographic works on nature or the environment. The practical part is the largest and is focused on the creation of the atlas. Based on the review, the required content of the atlas was determined, which was further modified based on the available data. Spatial data were processed in ArcGIS Pro version 7.1 by Esri, some data were preprocessed in Microsoft Excel from Microsoft Office 365. Graphics processing took place in desktop publishing (DTP) programs, specifically Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign from the Adobe Creative Cloud package. In Adobe Illustrator, maps were graphically processed, and map legends were added. The text, charts, illustrations, photos, and other superstructure compositional elements were added in Adobe InDesign. Finally, prepress preparation was carried out. The main result of the thesis is a printed thematic atlas called Atlas of Nature of the Olomouc Region and its associated workbook. The digital version of the atlas in PDF format is available on the Bachelor thesis website along with a workbook, worktext, and poster in A2 format.
