Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza významů prvků ve filmu Malý Buddha a určení, zda tento film je významově upraven pro západní diváky či nikoli. Pro tento účel byl využit film Malý Buddha z roku 1993 a také četba potřebné literatury. Výsledkem této práce je zjištění, že tento filmový snímek nepřizpůsobuje obsah a význam buddhismu svým divákům.The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the meanings of the elements in the film Little Buddha and to determine whether this film is semantically modified for Western viewers or not. For this purpose, the film Little Buddha from 1993 was used, as well as reading the necessary literature. The result of this work is the finding that this film does not adapt the content and meaning of Buddhism to its viewers.
