Tato práce je věnována reflexi a interpretaci dlouhodobých vztahů v životních drahách českých seniorek. Cílem této práce je vybudovat zakotvenou teorii, která přiblíží kontext a osvětlí příčiny a strategie udržování dlouhodobých vztahů seniorek napříč jejich životními drahami. Práce se skládá z teoretické části, která nastiňuje základní teoretická východiska, dále z části věnované metodologii výzkumu a posledně z části analytické, která na základě analýzy narativních rozhovorů osvětluje nově vzniklou teorii. Tato teorie vnímá vývoj dlouhodobého vztahu jako ústřední jev, daný sdílenou situací a vizí partnerů. Udržení vztahu se odvíjí od strategií jednání žen ve prospěch zajištění stability vztahu, rodiny a domácnosti. Vztah byl interpretován jako funkční a spokojený poté, co pár napříč vývojovými etapami vztahu jednal společně. Samostatné jednání partnerů se ukázalo být prospěšné pro vztah pouze v případě, že bylo založené na společné dohodě a vizi partnerů.This thesis deals with the reflection and interpretation of long-term relationships of female Czech senior citizens throughout their life course. Its main goal is to create a grounded theory which could clarify the main strategies of maintaining a long-term relationship. This thesis contains three parts; the first part incorporates theoretical framework of this thesis, the second is dedicated to the methodology used for data collection and analysis, and lastly, the third part deals with analysing data collected through the narrative interview method, which then helps to create a new theory. The theory itself establishes relationship development as the main phenomenon, occurring due to a pair's shared situation and relationship vision. The maintenance of a long-term relationship is possible when a woman uses strategies which help to assure the stability of her family, home and said relationship. The relationship had been interpreted as functional and satisfactory when the pair acted together throughout the relationship development stages. Independent action taking could be beneficial for said relationship only in the case of the pair agreeing on said action taking.
